Avenues for Autism shares the incredible journey of those we serve and whose lives have been changed thanks to our generous donors. We hope you enjoy our July 2026 issue of Exceeding the Limits!
When our daughter, Arynn who is 2 years old, was diagnosed with autism at such a young age, our world changed in ways we never expected. Like so many families, we experienced fear, uncertainty, and countless questions about what the future would look like. Every milestone has come with unique challenges, but every achievement, no matter how small it may seem to others, is a reason for us to celebrate.
Arynn is a bright, loving, and beautiful little girl who experiences the world in her own unique way. She has significant sensory needs, communication delays, and struggles with daily tasks that many people take for granted. Simple things like trying new foods, sleeping through the night, or communicating her wants and needs can be incredibly difficult. Some days are overwhelming, but she continues to show us just how strong and resilient she truly is.
Over the past year, we’ve watched Arynn make amazing progress. Every new word, every moment of eye contact, every interaction with her sisters and brother, and every step toward independence reminds us that progress isn’t measured by how fast a child develops—it’s measured by the determination they show every single day. She teaches our family patience, unconditional love, and that every milestone deserves to be celebrated.
We are incredibly grateful to Avenues for Autism for the kindness and support they’ve shown our family. Because of their generosity, Arynn received a Toniebox, a wagon, and a new car seat. These aren’t just gifts—they’ve made a real difference in our daily lives. Her Toniebox has become a comforting part of her routine, providing music and stories that help her regulate and relax. The wagon has made family outings much more manageable, giving Arynn a safe and comfortable place when walking becomes overwhelming. Her new car seat has provided both comfort and security, making travel much less stressful for all of us.
As parents, it’s easy to feel like you’re facing this journey alone, but Avenues for Autism reminded us that there is a community that truly cares. Their support has eased some of the financial burden while giving Arynn tools that help her thrive. More importantly, they’ve helped our family feel seen, understood, and supported.
Thank you, Avenues for Autism, for believing in children like Arynn and for making such a meaningful impact on families like ours. Your generosity has brought comfort, encouragement, and hope into our lives, and we will always be grateful to be part of this incredible community.
